Home Basic Information Custom Bags for Brands, Retailers and Importers

Bonita Bags supports OEM and ODM bag projects for brands, retailers, importers and distributors. Different buyer models require different development, documentation, packaging and production workflows, so each project is reviewed against its product, market, channel and order plan.

With 30 years of bag-manufacturing experience, three production plants, more than 20 production lines, two QC teams and more than 60 inspectors, Bonita coordinates product development and mass production across backpacks, travel bags, diaper bags, sports bags, outdoor bags and other soft-goods categories.

Consumer and Lifestyle Bag Programs

Consumer programs can include everyday backpacks, business bags, travel bags, diaper bags, school bags, cooler bags and lifestyle accessories. Product development should connect target customer needs to capacity, organization, comfort, materials, appearance and price positioning.

For a private-label collection, define the elements shared across the range—such as fabrics, color palette, hardware finish, logo treatment and packaging—while keeping SKU-specific construction and measurements controlled.

Sports and Active Programs

Sports bags may need equipment-specific compartments, ventilation, wet or dry separation, footwear storage, protective panels or team branding. Buyers should define the equipment dimensions, carrying method, load, cleaning requirements and field conditions before sampling.

Bonita’s product range includes gym, training, swimming, cycling, racket-sport and specialized equipment bags. The relevant factory experience and construction should be reviewed against the exact sport and buyer specification.

Outdoor and Tactical Programs

Outdoor packs can require load transfer, reinforced attachment points, hydration compatibility, weather protection, abrasion resistance and fit testing. “Outdoor” is not a sufficient specification. Define the activity, duration, expected load, climate and failure risks.

For tactical or professional-use products, confirm webbing layout, attachment compatibility, hardware, reinforcement, color requirements and any project-specific testing or documentation.

Business, Travel and Work Programs

Business and travel bags balance device protection, access, organization, carrying comfort and appearance. Important details can include laptop dimensions, luggage pass-throughs, document storage, cable organization, security features and airline or channel requirements.

Tool bags and professional work bags require a separate review of tool sizes, loading, abrasion points, base construction, handles and access during use.

Baby, Children’s and Family Programs

Diaper bags, changing accessories, baby carriers and children’s products require careful intended-use and destination-market review. Requirements can differ significantly between a general-use adult bag and a regulated children’s or juvenile product.

For regulated children’s products in the United States, third-party testing and certification may apply. Buyers should identify the responsible importer and applicable rules using current guidance from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. Bonita does not replace the buyer’s regulatory or legal review.

Promotional and Corporate Programs

Promotional orders are deadline-driven and brand-sensitive. The project brief should include the campaign date, delivery location, artwork, approved colors, packing method and distribution plan. Production timing should be calculated backward from the required arrival date, including approval and transportation.

When a program includes multiple destinations or employee names, confirm how labeling, packing lists and carton identification will be controlled before mass production.

How Bonita Supports Different Buyer Models

OEM Development

For a buyer-owned design, Bonita reviews the technical pack, materials, construction, artwork, quality criteria and order plan, then develops samples against the confirmed specification.

ODM Development

For a concept or market requirement, the team can review reference products and functional goals, then discuss available design and development routes. Ownership and permitted use of buyer information should be clear.

Repeat and Scale-Up Orders

Repeat production should use controlled specifications, approved references and documented changes. A repeat order is not automatically identical when materials, component suppliers or regulations change.

Multi-SKU Programs

Collections require SKU matrices, shared component planning, color control, packaging rules and staged approvals. MOQ and lead time should be evaluated per material, color and SKU rather than only at total-order level.

Industries We Serve FAQ

Does Bonita only manufacture backpacks?

No. The product range includes backpacks, travel bags, diaper bags, business bags, sports bags, outdoor bags and other project-specific soft goods.

Can Bonita support a new brand?

Yes, when the product, target market and order model fit the available development and manufacturing capabilities. A clear brief helps determine the appropriate route.

Can retailers provide their own compliance manual?

Yes. Product, material, labeling, packaging and testing requirements should be reviewed before sampling and referenced in the approved specification.

Can you support multiple SKUs?

Multi-SKU programs can be reviewed. Material minimums, color quantities, shared components, packaging and line planning affect feasibility and timing.

Do you offer one standard production plan for every buyer?

No. The workflow is adjusted to the product, buyer model, documentation, quality requirements and commercial plan.
